He scored with ease last time out in a similarly weak race at Hamilton by over 3l. The runner-up on that occasion, Slainte Mhath has subsequently won well at Ayr which gives the form some substance. He’s a busy horse and has had a massive 111 career starts but he’s remarkably consistent on both turf and all-weather.
Since his Wolverhampton win in May 2021 he’s made the top 4 on 15 occasions. He won off a 1lb higher mark last August on turf at Yarmouth over 6f on good ground so the 6lbs rise could still be well within his capabilities. He’s a huge price on his form and definitely worth an each-way bet today.
