Auteuil is back!

Racing gets underway just after midday at the home of French jumps racing and there is over €500,000 in prize-money on offer across the nine-race card.

The Quinte+ handicap hurdle (12.50pm) is undoubtedly competitive, but most of these are relatively exposed off their marks and at the prices, Arenui is worth chancing.

He showed a good deal of ability earlier in his career for Francois-Marie Cottin, finishing runner-up in Listed company at Cagnes, but then missed a year and was moved to a small yard for a couple of runs early in 2020.

The switch to Arnaud Chaille-Chaille saw an improved performance when third at Vichy at the start of August on his first run for 17 months and he gained a confidence-boosting success in the provinces a couple of weeks ago.  This is significantly tougher, but he has the potential to progress for this yard and after just nine career starts.
