Force De L’Aube ran a fair race on her first start at Cagnes three weeks ago and can return to winning ways in the 1m4f class 2 this morning (11.30am).
The Yann Barberot-trained filly took a while to get off the mark last term, but that maiden win at Angers in October was followed two starts later by AW handicap successes at Chantilly and Deauville off marks of 34.5 and 37.5.
She did look a little rusty on what was her first start in six weeks, but is expected to come on for that and the better ground today should help.
She is receiving a minimum of 5.5kg from all of the field, in part due to the race conditions but also with the benefit of Dorian Provost’s claim. Provost has been seen to good effect in recent months and is back on our selection for the first time since scoring at Chantilly in November.

Indian Gold bumped into one when runner-up here three weeks ago and after three seconds, she really should be getting off the mark this afternoon (2.00pm).
Beaten a short-head by a subsequent class 2-winning stablemate on debut in September, she found only Wonderful Tonight’s half-sister Heartache Tonight too good at ParisLongchamp next time.
Her trainer Henri-Alex Pantall looked to have left plenty to work on when she finished runner-up on her reappearance over this course and distance last month, behind an interesting filly of Jean-Claude Rouget’s.
It would be surprising if there is anything of that calibre in here, and she was well on top of the re-opposing Opiana.
