A host of once-raced two year olds contest the opening maiden at Craon, and I’m siding with Keahenge Bere to make his second start a winning one.

 

A fourth foal, his two siblings to make the track both gained black type as juveniles and the fact his trainer sent him to Deauville to debut in the Prix de Crevecoeur suggests he holds him in very high regard.

 

That maiden tends to be one of the very best run all season and produces stacks of Group-class performers.  Keahenge Bere went through the race very nicely and though he was unable to go with the front trio, the form looks sure to work out well, with top yards and classy pedigrees on show.

 

Boisnard is 2-4 here at Craon this year, Hugo Lebouc has been booting in plenty of winners for the yard in recent weeks and Keahenge Bere can give him a third course success of the season later this morning.
