Shakstar Fal Mor has been found a good opportunity by Gavin Hernon and should record a second career win in the claimer (11.00am).

He scored at Compiegne back in June and has finished runner-up on his last two starts in Clairefontaine claimers, both those races being deeper contests than this.  

Though no match for the winner last time, that one was claimed for €27K afterwards and there’s nothing in this that looks capable of running to the same level.

11.00am Le Croise-Laroche – Shakstar Fal Mor win @ 10/11 (all firms)

Francis Graffard has the odds-on favourite in the 1m4.5f maiden with Parure Des Sables, but the race in which she finished second last time was pretty weak and at the prices, it is worth taking her on with Gamechanger.

He ran a shade better than the form suggests on debut in late July and duly built on that when third over this trip at Clairefontaine in early August, the form of which would make him the one to beat here.

He was dropped back to 1m1f at Dieppe last time, but ran creditably enough in what was a better race than this.  The return to this trip should help and though he has had three relatively quick races, he is certainly capable of winning this if in the same form today.
