Francis Graffard couldn’t hide his frustration and disappointment regarding Verry Elleegant missing out on a run in the Arc, but she can gain compensation in the Prix de Royallieu this afternoon (1.33pm).

 

Graffard has brought her along steadily with this weekend in mind, but just a repeat of the run in the Prix Foy last time would give her a big chance and the step up to this trip and testing conditions will see her in an even better light.

 

I’m surprised to see her as big as 3-1 this morning and she is a confident selection to get us off to a winning start in Paris.
