The David Cottin-trained Ioup La La hasn’t been seen since finishing a promising second on debut at Pau in December. However, she has been found a very winnable race today and can make her second start a winning one at Moulins (11.20am).
She was sent off a warm favourite on her first start, but was beaten by a stablemate that day in a race that produced a few winners.
Though the form is nothing special, a replication of that effort should be good enough to win this, and it’s reasonable to expect some progress from this well-bred daughter of Authorized.
Itiepy and Ici Des Flos look tricky customers, while Imbroglio has only held provincial entries and though an obvious danger given his connections, it is worth siding with Ioup La La against the favourite.
