Clair De Lune ran a race full of promise on debut and is a confident selection to make it second time lucky today (5.27pm).

Held up in last and a shade keen, she travelled strongly and made up plenty of ground to finish on the heels of the front three in what looked a competitive maiden over this course and distance a fortnight ago.

Francis Graffard has given this well-bred filly a Group 3 entry at Deauville early next month, entries for which closed earlier this week, so she has presumably been showing up very nicely.   Her form reads better than second favourite Burmese Ruby and the 6/4 on offer is worth taking.
