A really good card at Saint-Cloud today, but we head to the lowest-grade race on the card for our bet!

Zarika heads the market for the claiming handicap, but she is 4-50 in her career to date and high enough in the weights, so the fact she is favourite highlights how weak a race this is.

By contrast, Dandy Place is an impressive 12-58 (8-34 for this yard) and returns to turf off a 2kg lower mark than when runner-up in a handicap in December on his latest outing on the grass.  He has a good record under Ambre Molins and his prominent style of racing is well-suited to this course.  He ran creditably at Marseille two starts back and you can put a line through his latest run, when stuck on the inside and badly hampered on a couple of occasions.

After a slow start to the year, his trainer has really started to hit form, scoring with six of his last 22 runners.  At 16-1, Dandy Place is overpriced to boost that recent record.
