With the race off in under an hour, there is not time for an extensive write-up this morning, but I believe that Zeleniya is over-priced at 5/2 to record a third consecutive win.

Francis-Henri Graffard’s Siyouni filly began the year with possible Classics aspirations, but her career only really started to take off in October with an unlucky 3rd in maiden company at Compiegne.

An impressive winner of both her maiden and her handicap at this course (her home course), the surface and distance today are all within her comfort zone. I think she has been missed in the UK markets today as it’s Boxing Day and Christophe Soumillon is on his holidays.

Ironwithers is perhaps better than a 36.0 horse but I’m no fan of his jockey today and he has an outside draw to navigate.

Zeleniya had a recent Listed entry at Deauville against Pennybaker and I think that’s the type of company she will be keeping next year.
