Raabihah started this season as a legitimate contender for the Prix de l’Arc having finished fifth in the 2020 edition, but she is still winless this season.

Dropping in grade for a nine-furlong Listed race this afternoon at Clairefontaine (4.00pm UK time), she logically heads the market at 5/6.

She looks a proper middle distance type however and there must be a strong chance that she is just using this as a further stepping stone to a Group race at Deauville later this month.

Magny Cours has form around this trip for Andre Fabre but he too is beginning to look disappointing when compared to his efforts last year and in the Dubai World Cup.

Celestin also has questions to answer but Fabrice Chappet’s son of Dabirsim is attractively priced at 16-1 this afternoon. An impressive winner here as a juvenile, he has two disappointing efforts to his name in Group races but is a transformed animal when there is juice in the ground.

Although not bottomless today, the good to soft will suit Celestin and his yard is hinting at a return to form with five winners saddled in July.
