The 7f class 4 (11.15am) features a few to consider, but I like the chances of Light Up My Dream.

Simone Brogi won a handicap with him off 32.5 at Toulouse in November and though the form figures since don’t make for inspiring reading, the 5.5f at Salon Provence on his second start back from a break was too short and he was never in with any sort of chance in a higher grade here last time, when dropped in last from his wide draw.  That run saw his mark drop sufficiently to scrape into this.

He has a better draw today, the return here is a positive (he won over this CD last July off 30 for his previous yard), he has ground conditions to suit and should get a good lead into the race from Karibbean Dream.

Brogi’s form can be patchy, but he has had four winners and two seconds from his last nine runners and it’s clear from the past few weeks that his team are in excellent nick.  After three starts back from a break and down in grade, the selection should be spot on now and is fancied to go close.
