The Group 3 Prix de Psyché opens a cracking card at Deauville this afternoon,and Life Of Dreams can give Charlie Appleby a winner with his only runner on today’s card.

The daughter of Dubawi and Group 2 winner Endless Time (also runner-up in two French Group 1s) won her maiden in April before proving no match for Emily Upjohn in the Musidora.

She went through the race well in the Ribblesdale next time, but just didn’t see out the 1m4f and William Buick looked after her.  This looks her trip and she can return to winning ways.

The Group 3 Prix Six Perfections has the right two at the top of the market, but at a very big price I can’t resist an each-way bet on Evina.

The daughter of Kodiac was bought from the breeze-ups in April and made a taking debut at Hamburg at the end of June in what looked a decent contest.

This is obviously a considerable step up in grade, but she looked to have a fair bit in hand that day and was idling late on.  Her trainer knows what it takes to be competitive at this level and she is an interesting outsider.
