Two winners from our two bets at Pau this morning, and we have one at Deauville this afternoon, with Gregarina a really interesting newcomer in the mile maiden (3.42pm).

A 16-runner newcomers’ contest is not one for maximum stakes (!), but her dam won on her sole start at two, while this one’s half-brother, Gagarin’s Moon, won on debut for this yard as a February three year old and has since developed into a smart performer.

Fabrice Chappet is in excellent form at present, we have a good draw in stall 5, and the vibes have been very positive regarding her work on the gallops at home.  At 8-1, she looks well worth supporting.

3.42pm Deauville – 1pt win Gregarina @ 8-1 (various)
