Arabians take centre stage at La Teste de Buch this afternoon, featuring a fantastic Group One.

At 6.02pm there’s a Group Three event for colts and the horse that looks the best bet on the card is Cristian Demuro’s ride in this, Motus De L’Aigle. When last seen, he was staying on well over the mile trip to finish a close third to Laffan, who is currently billed at the top three-year-old. The second, Amjaad, had won first time out and is a warm order for the equivalent fillies’ race at 5.27pm.

Motus De L’Aigle looks to be progressing with every run and the hope is that on the bare form, he should at least hold off 3-1 Ad Debel and 9-1 Mansoor de Faust in this. He was cheaply bought at €20,000 under a year ago but looks to have the best form in the book. Alhaarith is obviously liked at home, having been sent off at 9/4 on debut but looks underpriced today in warmer company at 11/4 and has been done no favours with an outside gate.

6.02pm La Teste 1pt each-way Motus De L’Aigle @ 4-1 (Spreadex, bet365 or 10/3 Ladbrokes etc.)
