Lyon La Soie Tips and Racecourse Guide
Lyon La Soie is one of Lyon’s two city racecourses and is located in the north. With no turf circuit, Lyon La Soie plays host to flat racing on the polytrack as well as trotting racing on the inner circuit.
Flat racing takes place from September to May, often under floodlights. The racecourse is joined to the Carré de Soie shopping centre, featuring a magnificent 14-screen Pathé cinema.

French Racing Tips – 09/04
The 3.42pm at Lyon provides a great opportunity for Jean-Claude Rouget’s Alessandro to return to winning ways having bumped into subsequent Group winner Pretty Tiger at Cagnes-sur-Mer. He has a wide draw to contend with this afternoon but is one of few in here that has confirmed black type ability and has race fitness on side.
Andre Fabre’s Parchemin is popular at 11/4 but still needs to step forward plenty on his Chantilly return and has to concede 2kg to the selection.
Francis-Henri Graffard likes Bois D’Argent but he is another that probably has better days ahead this season.

The Carré de Soie commercial centre is 11 stops from Place Bellecour. Take the pink metro Line A northbound and continue all the way to the terminus, Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie.
