A staying-on fourth at Marseille Borely last time, Bourdain returns to the course today with strong claims of adding a fifth career success at looks a very solid each-way play with the four places available.

 

He travelled well last time, on his fourth run back from a break for his new yard, and would surely have gone close but for a troubled passage.  The quick ground won’t inconvenience him, he’s on a career-low mark at present and it’s good to see Antonio Orani on board again today.

 

Jerome Andreu’s yard have been in excellent form in the past couple of months and his recent record with Orani, who has been top jockey here for the last three seasons, is outstanding, reading 1120314611211413 since the start of March.
