Slightly calmer waters today as we attack Marseille-Borely in the provinces.

Préciosité rates as a strong bet in Race Three which is a fillies maiden. The daughter of Dabirsim has been seen once on the track, which came in a similar event at Vichy five weeks ago.

A half-sister to two black type performers, she was given an educational ride but stayed on in really pleasing style for 3rd, beaten just over a length.

Both the 1st and 2nd from Vichy won their next starts and so the form definitely looks as good as L’Imprévue’s 2nd over this C&D last time out.

Préciosité is going to be far from the finished article but there are a couple of more signs that she is really liked – shrewd super owner Gérald Augustin-Normand has purchased 50% of her, she was given an entry at Chantilly and Anthony Crastus comes to Marseille today for just two rides before making the trek for more rides at Toulouse this evening.

I’m having a good bet at 100/30 and reckon she might even be sent off favourite. She has attracted early money on the PMU and I’m not too disappointed with the reformed market – she was 4-1 earlier but Jerome Reynier has scratched a well-bred newcomer.
