Murciano ran a nice race on debut at Deauville last month and is overpriced to make his second start a winning one at Pornichet this evening.

The son of Kingman showed up well for a long way that day and still looked to be in with a shout of success inside the final furlong, before just tiring a little late on.  The front five pulled well clear of the remainder and though the form is unlikely to prove overly strong, his rookie trainer Nicolas Le Roch, previously a head lad at Elisabeth Fabre’s, looks to have found him a good opportunity here.

The first foal of Group 2 Prix de Sandringham winner Mission Impassible, our selection looks a bit of value against the 1-2 favourite Clifton Down, who has had three chances and though the best on form in this, he doesn’t look particularly progressive.
