Ed Walker’s progressive staying filly Kawida heads the market for the Prix Cleopatre this afternoon at Saint-Cloud.

Rated the equivalent of 44 in France, Kawida looks well-placed in this grade and the good-to-soft ground looks perfect for her.

Dubawi filly Regalis catches the eye for the in-form Carlos Laffon-Parias team but one who looks sure to give a great account of herself, and likely targeted at this, is Jean-Claude Rouget’s Frankel filly Hometruths.

An impressive winner of a Bordeaux maiden last year, she carries a big reputation into her classic season and although she promises to get further in time, she made a pleasing reappearance over this C&D a month ago.

Sent off at even-money, she just took some time to find her action in the home straight but when she did, she picked up well.

Subject of bullish reports in the press, she looks a good bet at 4-1 this afternoon.

RECOMMENDED BET: 1.50pm Saint-Cloud – Hometruths win @ 4-1 (all firms)
