The Grande Course de Haies de Printemps is always a hugely-competitive handicap, and this year looks no exception.  However, I think Je Deviens Moi has a bit left in the locker and is a bet to give Francois Nicolle his third win in the race in the past four years, following on from Farlow Des Mottes in 2018 (when he also had the second) and Staunton Street last year.

The son of Cokoriko was as Listed winner over fences at Auteuil in October over 2m6f, on what was his first start beyond 2m3.5f.  His two runs this term have both been back over hurdles, finishing second and third in two Listed contests.  A strong-travelling sort, I really liked his run back over 2m3.5f last time and he looks on a decent mark of 64 (141 UK).

The return to this trip is a positive and he looks to have had an ideal preparation for this, for which he is the only representative for the champion trainer.  I think a big field and decent gallop will suit him and with the five places on offer, he is a good each-way bet.

3.30pm Auteuil – 1pt each-way Je Deviens Moi @ 7-1 5 places (Unibet, Betfred, Boylesports, Skybet, 4 places elsewhere)
