Interested in racehorse ownership in France?

France represents an outstanding, unique and rewarding opportunity to get involved in racehorse ownership.

With excellent prize-money on offer and additional owners’ premiums for French-bred horses, as well as a varied racing programme that caters for horses of all abilities, it is no wonder that there are an increasing number of UK and Irish-based owners dipping their toe into ownership in France.

I had my first runner in France in 2015, since when I have been lucky enough to celebrate 19 winners in my colours from 125 runs, between them earning €200,000 in prize-money. I achieved a lifelong dream of a winner at Auteuil for one of the syndicates I manage, Pimlico Racing, with Zoffany Bay (pictured above) landing a €100,000 Listed Handicap Hurdle at Auteuil in March 2021.

Both in my roles as a bloodstock agent and with Race Sharp, I work with a range of excellent trainers, both Flat and National Hunt, throughout the country.

If you are interested in owning a racehorse in France or taking a share in a syndicate, if you would like help with purchasing a horse or with an introduction to a suitable trainer, or simply if you have any questions about the initial steps to become a racehorse owner in France, I would be delighted to help.
