Two Irish cards in this evening and we will be focusing in on Kilbeggan where a couple of horses are worth backing.
The first of them is in the maiden hurdle over 3 miles. It’s a relatively weak contest in which Liz Doyle’s runner Itso Vango should appreciate the trip more than most. He stayed well over 2m4f in Limerick last time and his trainer is good at bringing on these young horses so I’d expect plenty of improvement.

The second selection also runs over a stamina testing 3m 1f this time over fences and Back The West looks a little over priced in the market. Was well ahead of the favourite here in his last start and has been placed here twice on last two starts. This contest isn’t of the hugest quality either and I think with 4 places on offer this is an each-way bet to nothing providing he makes it around safe and sound.
