Today’s Irish racing tip runs in the 7f handicap at the Curragh (6:08pm).
The Ken Condon-trained Ice Cold in Alex won this race last year in striking fashion and is back down to the same mark despite running well in defeat on his last two starts.
His penultimate start yielded a fifth over C&D where he was staying on well at the line on ground that was softer than ideal.  He ran well over 1m at Leopardstown last time and he didn’t get the clearest of runs inside the final furlong on that occasion.  The yard are in rude health and this race will have presumably been the plan for some time.  Joey Sheridan (who was on board last year) retains the ride and
