A decent card at Ballinrobe to look forward to this evening and we have found two at big prices that may prove some value.
The first of our bets on the card is the Denis Cullen-trained Mickey Shea. He’s a lightly raced 10yr old who definitely saves his best for around here and this isn’t the strongest looking handicap hurdle with a lot of the market principals rising sharply in the weights. In contrast Mickey Shea is running off a career-low mark, having been placed off 87 twice over C&D and he now runs off a mark of 81. The handicapper has most definitely given him a chance of winning a contest like this and his rideer claims a valuable 7lbs. Plenty of places on offer here and at a decent price he could definitely sneak into the frame.
6:30pm Ballinrobe – Mickey Shea each-way @ 14-1 5 places (most firms)
The next bet on the card is the Shark Hanlon-trained Mutual Respect, who looks a bit overpriced in the 2m7f beginners chase. He was a close third on his only other chase start at Tramore and the 4th home that day Coole Arcade has won since. He was only beaten less than a length and he should come on for that experience. Those at the top of the market don’t look anything special and our selection should be well capable of out-running his price this evening. Danny Mullins takes the mount, so we’re in safe hands.
7:30pm Ballinrobe – Mutual Respect each-way @ 22-1 (all firms)
