The opening maiden at Dundalk doesn’t look like it will take a great deal of winning and the pair that head the betting look very much the two to concentrate on.

Morning favourite Blue Cabachon has a mark of 87, courtesy of a third in a Listed at the Curragh in August, but the rest of her form is some way short of that level and though she finished behind some useful types at the course when last seen in December, she didn’t beat a great deal that day and her profile is hardly progressive.

In contrast, Zen Silence probably ran her best race to date over CD on her latest outing.  With blinkers fitted for the first time, she was clear second-best behind Drish Venture, who had won a handicap on his previous start and has since run very well in defeat off a mark of 84.

Zen Silence is unlikely to have to run to much more than 70 to score this evening and this daughter of 2003 UAE Oaks winner Danuta looks a good bet to get off the mark under Champion Jockey Colin Keane.
