One bet on the card at Clonmel today – I’ll make the write-up brief, as the first of them is off in 40 minutes.

The 2m2f maiden hurdle is for horses that haven’t finished in the first three under rules so far, so it is unsurprisingly a weak race. With that in mind, I’m taking a chance on Dicey Rylee.  He has shown ability on two of his three starts to date and Sean Flanagan is an eyecatching booking for the yard.  I liked the way he travelled on debut at Punchestown and his bumper fourth at Down Royal in February was enough to say he shouldn’t be 40-1 today.
