Follivores ran a really nice race on his debut at Lyon and was only just beaten by one with previous experience.  He looks a good prospect and I am very hopeful he can go close in the 6.5f maiden (12.58pm).

Elusive Foot was beaten just a nose in a Quinte on good to soft ground here at the beginning of the month.  I am confident he will cope well with the softer conditions and he has a strong chance in today’s Quinte (2.15pm), for all that his draw in stall 16 isn’t ideal!

Namos has been a high-class performer in Germany in recent seasons and is a four-time Group 3 winner in his native country, most recently at Baden-Baden last September.  However, he faces some very tough opposition today (2.45pm) and if he can run into a place, that would represent a fine effort.

Herouville‘s second in a claimer at Deauville was franked when the winner went in again on her next outing, and the competition here will be weaker than when sixth in maiden company last time.  I hope she can run a nice race on her handicap debut (3.48pm), though she will certainly need to improve to win.

I was very pleased with Saponaro‘s run at Compiegne last time, where he finished runner-up to National Bank, a nice prospect of Henri-Francois Devin’s.  He should go well once again (4.23pm), though this looks another tough assignment.

My final ride on the card is Art Premier, who is having his first run for Fabrice Vermeulen.  His trainer does well with new recruits, but this is his first run since February, so he is entitled to come on for it (4.55pm).
