Chepstow Tips and Racecourse Guide
Chepstow is home to the most famous contest in the Welsh racing calendar, the Welsh Grand National, which takes place on the 27th December.
Home to over 30 meetings a year, split between flat and jumps, it is an oval, left-handed circuit of just under two miles. An undulating track, there is also a straight mile course for the flat.

Chepstow Horse Racing Tips Today – 07/10
Today’s best bets for Chepstow can be seen below. Race Sharp offers free racing tips for all meetings at Chepstow throughout the season.
The National Hunt season returns at Chepstow with a seven-race card kicking off the two-day ‘Jumps Season Opener’. There are a few familiar names on show including ten-year-old favourite Cloth Cap for Jonjo O’Neill, running in a seven-runner field Veterans’ Handicap Chase at 1:35pm.
The best bet on the card could come in the 4:00pm Handicap Hurdle over two miles, as Alan King’s Nina The Terrier is set to line up. She has won first time out on both occasions in her two seasons to date and is likely to enjoy the good ground conditions at the Welsh course. The six-year-old mare was last seen finishing second in a Grade Two Mares’ Handicap at Newbury in April and may be able to dominate this lower-class contest off a mark of 131.
