Psyche looks a bit of value in the amateur riders’ contest (1.45pm).

 

He has won twice under this rider already this year and ran very creditably in the Amateurs’ Derby at Epsom last week.

 

Though unproven on the ground, his pedigree offers plenty of hope that he will handle it and it’s interesting to see Chris Gordon’s charge make the long journey north.
