The Irish have won the last three renewals of the Albert Bartlett but we fancy the trophy will be staying in Britain this evening.

Henry Daly’s Hillcrest has a fantastic chance in this staying novice hurdle and is every inch the future chasing type that this contest is made for. Winner of all four of his completed starts over hurdles, he was unfortunate when unseating at this track in January and he is taken to make amends for that at 9/4 with Fitzdares.

Mahler Mission is the other in here to have won a graded hurdle over at least three miles and although Ginto is expected to run well for the raiders, the form of his Grade One victory at Naas has taken a few knocks. We’d much rather stick with the form horse over the potential of Ginto.

2.50pm Cheltenham – 1pt win Hillcrest @ 5/2 (Unibet or 9/4 generally available and with Fitzdares)
