The following horses are moving and shaking in the markets this morning on Day 3 of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival:
13:20
In the Marsh the favourite Envoi Allen is steady at 2/5 but his compatriot Asterion Forlonge is 22/1 from 28/1, taken to have improved for having finally completed a race in behind Monkfish last time.
13:55
Again it is one-way traffic for the Irish in the markets this morning. Henry De Bromhead is having a fantastic Festival and his Milliner is 15/2 from 12/1 having crept in here off a rating of just 126. Champagne Platinum looks to hold solid claims for Nicky Henderson but is out to 8/1 from 6/1.
14:30
Allaho and Min continue to dispute favouritism for Willie Mullins and it is just Allaho who currently shades it at 4/1. Imperial Aura is weak at 8/1, out from 6/1.
15:05
Unquestionably the best-backed horse of Day 3 is Fury Road in the Stayers’ Hurdle. He is into 4/1 from 7/1 as he bids to avenge his narrow defeat in the Albert Bartlett last year. The Storyteller is now as big as 12/1.
15:40
Favourite The Shunter is popular at 5/2, having been available at 10/3 earlier today.
16:15
Hook Up and Royal Kahala look solid enough to continue the Irish domination of this race, but Alan King’s The Glancing Queen is the wiseguy pick today. She is into 9/1 from 14/1.
16:50
This race features professional jockeys this year and punters are going for Paul Nicholls’ Shantou Flyer, into 7/1 from 10/1.
