Polyrisk was tipped up in this column when runner-up at 33-1 last time out and though we won’t be getting that price today, he is still worth backing.

He travelled really well over course and distance last time and looked the likely winner approaching the last, only to lose out on the sprint for home to the Francois Nicolle-trained Jibril Des Mottes.  That one has since franked the form when winning by 8L in a class 2 at Clairefontaine, easily getting the better of a last-time-out winner.

Polyrisk had another Nicolle representative back in third here last time, that one having made a winning hurdling debut at Dax, so it looks a solid piece of form and the best on offer here.

The Nicolle-trained Uncheckable is better than he showed last time (and was eased after being hampered at the last), while his newcomer Purple Song also has to be respected.  However, Polyrisk deserves to be a couple of points shorter and at 13/2 looks a bit of value.
